NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATIONS

Diagnostics and neuropsychological therapy in our Neurological Clinic is carried out by Anna Alejska – MA in clinical neuropsychology.

Neuropsychological diagnosis is significantly useful in the diagnostic procedure carried out by a neurologist.

It consists of:

– diagnosis of behavioral disorders and cognitive functioning in various diseases of the nervous system (craniocerebral trauma, strokes, epilepsy, MS, etc.)

– in dementia diseases – a thorough neuropsychological examination defining the level of particular cognitive functions, with particular emphasis on memory functions.

– determining the level of cognitive functioning – so-called intelligence tests (they are also carried out for the needs of ZUS – Social Insurance Institution and the Disability Assessment Board).

– neuropsychological therapy improving the efficiency of reduced functions/activities.
