We give Solu Medrol (glucocorticoid) 1g per day in a drip (intravenous infusion) for 5 days in outpatient settings, if necessary – if the patient’s condition requires it or the distance to the our Center is too large for the patient to show up every day – we direct the patient to the hospital, to the Neurological Department.

After one month, the patient undergoes a neurological examination in order to determine the effectiveness of the treatment.

We assess whether the symptoms of the relapse have subsided, remained, or whether new ones appeared and depending on this, we decide on a further treatment plan.

We always strive to obtain the state from before the relapse.
